It is…

Boy JayMan Shoes

We’ve got ourselves a Y-chromosome here…

And of course, these are only fitting. I’d go straight to the classic John Williams version, but Hans Zimmer’s recent treatment kind of grew on me, so I’m using both. These themes and the scenes in which they originate show something of where I am at with my impending fatherhood. I am looking forward to passing on all my knowledge, and watching my boy grow into manhood. The expected brilliance and intellectual derring-do would be great, but really would only be an added plus. 🙂

    Congrats, dude. Soon you gotta try for Kara Zor-El.

    Yes, congrats indeed. And always nice with a little John Williams. I remember seeing the binary moon scene from Star Wars as a kid, one of those magic moments that stayed in my memory. Very wagnerian, in a good non-Ludwig II way.

    Congratulations. Little boys are full of energy and will. Good luck. 🙂

    Congratulations Jayman.

    You are not being a good liberal, Jayman. A good liberal would not jump to conclusions about gender from such thin evidence as the presence of a Y-chromosome or any other external manifestations.

    Congratulations in any case.

      If not the Y-chromosome, then how about a piece of anatomy that was…quite difficult to overlook? ;p

      That big, huh? 😛

      In any case, as liberal religion teaches us, that which lies between the legs has nothing to do with gender ;-). [Things like that lead me to conclude that the liberal religion is the nuttiest religion of them all! And such conformity. When some random bit is added to the theology, like a school of fish all good liberals swim in a tight pack in that direction in that direction, as though they believed the latest bit of theology all their lives. Jayman, you are the rare liberal that does not conform. Can you really be called a liberal in the modern sense?]

      No kidding, huh? 😉

    Congratulations, Jayman. Now, we will see whether your boy is one of those nice kids, who quickly learn to sleep at nights (as my son) or one of those brats who are waking up several times in the middle of the night until their 2nd birthday (like my daughter)

      @szopeno:

      Thanks! I can only hope I’m as lucky as I can be, in many respects. We are setting things up to make life as easy as possible. 🙂

    Congratulations from me too. And God bless you, your wife and the little one. Even if you are an atheist (I’m not), it won’t hurt (I hope so).

    Greetings from Germany
